Offering the unique experience and thrill of a high powered RIB skimming across the waves as we whisk you out to some of the best Sealife sites in the Firth of Forth.We offer a range of tours to suit your taste, our popular 1.5hr "Inchcolm Express" trip with a landing is favoured by families whilst our "Seafari Adventures" is for those interested in observing the rich Sealife we have here in the Forth. Dependant on conditions we often enjoy some superb close up views of the creatures in their natural habitat. You are almost certain to see Common and Atlantic Grey Seals, comical little Puffins (during the breeding season) as well as Fulmars, Cormorants, Shags, Guillemots, Razorbill, Eider Ducks and Terns. We also get occasional sightings of Dolphins, Porpoise, Minke whales and at the start of this year we had some very unusual visitors - a small pod of Orca (Killer whales) who stayed with us for nearly three months.
'INCHCOLM EXPRESS' TOUR (1.5hrs)
Departing from Newhaven Harbour, a famous old fishing harbour on Edinburgh's waterfront- check our schedule below for times and locations. We normally allow time for a brief stop at one of the many islands in the Forth to spot Seals or Puffins before we whisk you over to the beautiful island of Inchcolm 'The Iona of the East' . You have approx 50mins ashore to explore the Abbey, Visitor Centre and wartime ruins or relax on the sandy beach and enjoy a picnic. All too soon we whisk you home with some superb memories
SEAFARI ADVENTURE (1hr)
Our most popular trip is this 1hr adventure, depending on weather conditions we try to get you superb close up views of the many birds and mammals in their natural environment as we can. However as members of WISE, we do carefully observe the Scottish Marine Wildlife Watching Code which is designed to protect the wildlife from harassment. Don't forget your camera as we enjoy many unique encounters with the wildlife. Your skipper has a wealth of knowledge which allows him to provide an expert commentary on the many things you will see.
PRIVATE CHARTER Why not charter the vessel with friends for your own adventure? We can do just whatever you want wherever you want - one of our normal trips or something special such as a trip to somewhere different? As a guide our basic prices for private charter are £300 for one hour and £450 for two hours. Maximum number of passengers is 12
