Offering the unique experience and thrill of a high powered RIB skimming across the waves as we whisk you out to some of the best Sealife sites in the Firth of Forth.Now operating from Newhaven, Dunbar and North Berwick, we offer a range of tours to suit your taste, from Newhaven our popular 1hr "Seafari Adventures" offers superb views of Seals as well as Seabirds as we cruise around the Forth islands.
For magnificent views of Gannets nothing can compare to the trips from North Berwick or Dunbar to the world famous Bass Rock. Described by David Attenborough as "a unique wonder of the natural world" we run multiple 1hour trips every day out to see the famous Gannets, there are over 100,000 of them resident on the rock and we are able to get wonderful close up views of the nests and chicks.
Each trip is different and we never quite know what sightings we will get but we are finding that our customers are absolutely delighted with this latest addition to our range
NEW FOR 2010 We are now running trips from North Berwick out to the Isle of May known as the 'Jewel of the Forth'. This is now an important National Nature Reserve in the care of Scottish Natural Heritage. It is now so easy to get there from Edinburgh and the Lothians, and you have our expert guide to provide you with an informative tour of the island's history and wildlife. Approx 2hrs ashore and the trip is approx 3.5hrs in total. This new route from East Lothian is an alternative to the main ferry service from Anstruther provided by the "May Princess' but may be more convenient for those on the south side of the Forth. So there's lots to see and we never know what surprises each trip can bring!
SEAFARI ADVENTURE (1hr) from Newhaven
Our most popular trip is this 1hr adventure, depending on weather conditions we try to get you superb close up views of the many birds and mammals in their natural environment as we can. However as members of WISE, we do carefully observe the Scottish Marine Wildlife Watching Code which is designed to protect the wildlife from harassment. Don't forget your camera as we enjoy many unique encounters with the wildlife. Your skipper has a wealth of knowledge which allows him to provide an expert commentary on the many things you will see.
SEABIRD SEAFARI from North Berwick Our newest offering and already a great success, our two new RIBS whisk you out around Craigleith to see the Puffins and Guillemots then east to the famous Bass Rock with its 100,000 plus Gannets, fortress and awesome cliffs.
